Seating

There is plenty of seating at 3M Arena at Mariucci. Seating is first come first serve and no tickets are required. There are no reserved seats. 

There is ADA seating available at the east end and center ice on the upper level. Wheel chair seating is available in Section 2, 3, 8,18, and 24 on the mezzanine level. If you have any special concerns, please contact our main office at (651) 431-8200.

Balloons and Airhorns

Balloons are not permitted in Mariucci Arena. Please keep them in your car or at home. If you bring them into the facility you will need to check them at the door and can pick them up when you leave. 
There will be metal detectors at the entrance to Mariucci. Airhorns are strictly prohibited. You may throw them away or return them to your car, but you will not be allowed to have them in the arena.

Parking

Parking will be available in multiple surrounding lots and garages for the ceremony. The rate for parking is $10/vehicle in Lot 37 and the Maroon Lot. Parking in the Fourth Street Ramp is also  $10/vehicle. Lot 37 and the Maroon Lot are the closest lots to the arena.

Maroon Lot: 2010 6th St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455

Fourth Street Parking Ramp: 1625 4th St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 (this lot may be more than $6)

ADA parking is available in both lots in locations closest to 3M Arena. There are unfortunately no ADA parking spaces attached to the arena. There is a drop off loop that can be used for dropping individuals with physical limitation off on 5th (after the turn off of Oak). The pull in spot is labeled “Vendor Pull In”.

Log into EduTrak & Choose Athletics/Activities/Fine Arts Registration

Select Register next to your Student’s Name

Select 24-25 AVHS Graduation Fee

Graduation Fee is $50.  If you have applied for Educational Benefits for the 24-25 school year, you may have a reduced fee.  If you have not applied for Educational Benefits yet, you can still do so here https://avhs.district196.org/families/educational-benefits.

After the party’s over, give your graduation yard sign a second life! Dakota County is hosting a free drop-off recycling collection to keep graduation and other yard signs out of the landfill. Yard signs do not belong in the home recycling cart. The plastic and metal can be made into new products only when collected and recycled separately.

High school seniors and their families are encouraged to drop off rigid corrugated plastic signs and metal stakes from June 1-August 15 at the Dakota County Western Service Center in Apple Valley in the collection bin inside the lobby. Signs will be taken to Choice Plastics, a local plastic recycler in Minnesota. See the Recycling Guide for more information.
