Enrolling Your Student

To be eligible to enroll at AVHS:

• The student must live in the AVHS attendance area with a parent or legal guardian.
  • Use the school attendance area locator tool
• If the student lives outside the AVHS attendance area, they must apply for and receive an intradistrict student transfer or state options (open) enrollment. AVHS will need a copy of the approved form.

PRE-REGISTER ONLINE

Please note: completing this pre-registration form is not your final step. Click on one of the following buttons to begin pre-registering your student based on your family's current situation. 

Download, print and complete these 3 forms:

• Denial of Release of Directory and Yearbook Information
• Request for Records for New Registrants
• Prospective Athlete Information Form

Obtain copies of the following documents:

• Proof of student's legal name (copy of birth certificate or passport)
• Proof of address with parent/guardian's name and address on the document (copy of purchase agreement, rental agreement, gas or electric bill)

Other information to complete pre-registration

• Educational Benefits Program applications (Formerly free and reduced-price lunch; Applications need to be renewed every summer.  Please wait until July if you are enrolling for next fall. For more information, visit District 196 Food and Nutrition Services.)

Send the 3 forms and 2 documents to Registrar Chris Borman at AVHS using one of the following methods:
