Enrolling Your Student
Why enroll at Apple Valley High School?
Academics
We offer over 300 required and elective courses that allow students a vast choice of challenging opportunities and experiences. Here we emphasize educational excellence with a focus on innovation, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills as the foundation for lifelong success.
Our fabrication lab and science, technology, engineering and math focus emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, innovation and real-world problem-solving skills that prepare students for post-secondary education and careers in high-demand STEM-related fields.
Arts
All students are required to take at least three Art credits but almost all AVHS students graduate with more Art credits on their transcripts. In addition, there are multiple co-curricular offerings in the arts including Theatre, Yearbook, and our nationally-recognized Speech and Debate program.
The Arts encourage students to explore the world, their place in it, and the human condition in a unique, creative, and important way. We are proud to say that the Arts are an important part of life at Apple Valley High School!
Athletics
We are built on toughness, hard work, and pride. In one of the state's most competitive conferences, our student-athletes and coaches continue to compete at a high level with discipline, resilience, and commitment to the team. There is a maturity and competitive edge across our programs, shaped by the work it takes to earn success.
Our trophy cases are lined wall to wall with our continued successes year-over-year as Apple Valley continues to show what connected, competitive programs can achieve. That is Eagle pride in action. Go Eagles!
