2-4pm: Open house

Various clubs, organizations, activities will be on hand to celebrate the 50 years through tours of the building with displays chronicling their history.

4-5pm: AVHS 50th Celebration

Presentation will include videos, guest speakers, and performances culminating with the world premiere of “The Widening Sky” written by Minnesota composer, Jocelyn Hagen. This piece is a band and choir collaboration commissioned by the AVHS Performing Arts department to celebrate the school’s 50th year.
