Seating
There is plenty of seating at 3M Arena at Mariucci. Seating is first come first serve starting at 3:00 p.m. and tickets are no charge and will be required.

There are no reserved seats.
There is ADA seating available at the east end and center ice on the upper level. Wheel chair seating is available in Section 2, 3, 8,18, and 24 on the mezzanine level. If you have any special concerns, please contact our main office at (952) 431-8201.
Meeting the Graduates after the Ceremony
Graduates can meet family and friends immediately after the ceremony outside of the arena. Family and friends may not come onto the ceremony floor.
Food and Beverage
Clear water containers are permitted in the arena and encouraged. We want you to stay hydrated. Food is not permitted, nor are beverages in opaque containers.
Bathrooms
There are three sets of bathrooms available on the mezzanine level for guests to use. Each of them is ADA compliant.
Security and Safety
We will have hired U of M security, a U of MN police officer, and an EMT on site for the ceremony. We hope that we don’t have to use these services, but they will be present to respond to any incident or need.
NO balloons or noisemakers are allowed in the Arena.
Bag Policy
The University of Minnesota bag policy is in place for our event. We encourage you not to bring bags to graduation. However, if you do the smaller the better and please check the prohibited item list below. All bags will be searched when entering and everything is subject to search.
